Teacher of Science - Leeds

Academic Appointments Ltd is currently working with a North Leeds partner school to recruit a dedicated Science Teacher. This is a full-time Science Teacher placement starting in September 2026 and continuing until the end of the academic year.

The successful Science Teacher will be teaching Science up to KS4 and will have responsibility for their own exam classes. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a supportive and ambitious school environment.

This is a ‘Good’ rated school based in North Leeds. Leaders and governors have a clear vision for the school and promote a culture of positive attitude and ambition. They have taken effective steps to make many improvements since the previous inspection, particularly in relation to pupils’ behaviour. Requirements

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification
• Well qualified with an honours degree in a relevant subject
• 2 references from educational establishments
• Evidence of an exemplary track record as a Science Teacher
• A passion for success and high-quality teaching
• An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience, and payroll method.
