Job Description - Teacher of Science, Physics

Teaching Tomorrow are representing a leading secondary school in Bedford, with appointing a dedicated, qualified Physics Teacher to join their dynamic science department. This post is to commence from September or January 2026, full-time on a temp to perm basis.

 

The school is renowned for its commitment to academic excellence and fostering a supportive learning environment. It offers modern facilities and a collaborative atmosphere that supports both students and staff in achieving their full potential.

 

The successful candidate will have a strong subject knowledge of Physics, while teaching to key stage 4 and key stage 5. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to a range of abilities, ensuring all students make excellent progress.

Requirements:

 

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of the Science national UK curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
- Enthusiasm for promoting health and wellbeing among young people.
