Are you a passionate, resilient, and committed teacher looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking an outstanding teacher for a Pupil Referral Unit in Sefton supporting learners who require a more personalised and nurturing approach to education.

The school offers an inclusive and supportive environment for students who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education. With a focus on re-engagement, emotional wellbeing, and tailored learning to help each young person realise their potential.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to small groups of pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Flexibility, creativity, and a trauma-informed approach are essential. The role will include planning, assessment, and collaboration with multi-agency partners and families.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience in mainstream or alternative provision (desirable but not essential)

• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills

• A genuine passion for inclusion and improving outcomes for vulnerable learners
