Teacher – SEND / Specialist Education - Coventry

Luma are currently recruiting Teachers to join a small, growing specialist education setting in Coventry, where pupils benefit from small class sizes and a more personalised approach to learning.

The Role

You will teach and support young people with a range of additional needs, adapting lessons and activities to suit individual abilities and learning goals.

Because classes are small, teachers can spend more time getting to know their pupils, building positive relationships and seeing the impact of their work.

* Planning and delivering engaging, personalised lessons

* Supporting pupils with SEND, autism, learning difficulties and additional needs

* Differentiating learning to meet individual needs

* Creating a calm, positive and structured classroom environment

* Monitoring progress and contributing to individual learning plans

* Working closely with Teaching Assistants and other members of the team

* Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and life skills

* Taking part in training and professional development
