We're working in partnership with a forward-thinking Alternative Provision school that's committed to changing the lives of young people through high-quality, individualised support. They're currently seeking a Teaching Assistant who can inspire, guide, and nurture learners who need it most.

? About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant in this specialist setting, you'll be:

• Supporting students aged 11-16 who require a more personalised learning environment
• Building trusted relationships to help re-engage learners with education
• Supporting classroom activities and helping implement targeted interventions
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Collaborating closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and external agencies

?? You'll Need:

• Experience working with children or young people - ideally in an education, youth work, or care setting
• Patience, empathy, and resilience in abundance
• A commitment to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable learners
• Strong communication skills and a flexible approach to each day's challenges

Bonus if you have:
Experience with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs), behaviour support, or qualifications in education/youth work.
