Duration: Mon - Friday 37 hours // Permanent 

Pay: £88 £95 a day 

We are working alongside a dynamic and inspiring Secondary School in West Cornwall. The School fosters the belief that every pupil is entitled to a broad, balanced and meaningful education. It is their aim to build on every child’s potential and to help them achieve to the very best of their ability.  We are looking for a motivated and engaging Teaching assistant to join the team.

As a Teaching Assistant you will be working closely with passionate teachers, you'll help to adapt and bring the curriculum to life, breaking down barriers and unlocking every learners potential. Implement planned learning activities and teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher, adjusting activities according to pupils’ responses as appropriate. Supporting pupils in their social and emotional well-being.

The appropriate qualifications are required, however relevant experience in a similar role are desirable, however an appreciation of the needs and support of others such as working in care would be transferable. The right candidate will posses a desire to assist in the learning and educational development of children. An understanding and commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children is vital. 

Working with Long-term Teachers:
