Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

About the Role

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a primary school pupil in Bolton (BL3) starting September 2025. This full-time, term-time position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on a child's educational journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to a pupil with specific learning needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the pupil's confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor and track the pupil's progress.
• Support the pupil during break times and assist with any personal care needs as required.

Ideal Candidate

• Holds a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
