Salary: £95-£110 per day (dependent on experience)

We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Lewisham this September. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to gain hands-on experience in the classroom, whether you're a recent graduate, aspiring teacher, or experienced support worker.

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support students aged 11-16, providing tailored assistance to ensure every learner reaches their potential. Duties may include:

• Supporting students with SEND or additional learning needs

• Providing one-to-one or small group interventions

• Assisting with classroom management and lesson delivery

• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous experience working with young people (school or non-school setting)

• Be proactive, adaptable, and reliable

• Possess excellent communication skills

• Have a genuine interest in education and student development

• Hold or be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (or be on the DBS Update Service)
