We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and well-resourced school nursery in Hitchin on a temporary basis until Christmas, with the possibility of extension. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Early Years practitioner who loves supporting children’s learning and development in a nurturing, engaging environment.

About the School:

The school is based in the historic market town of Hitchin, offering excellent facilities and strong community links. With around 220 children on roll and a thriving nursery, it has supportive parents and governors, and was judged “good with outstanding features” in its most recent Ofsted inspection.

The Role:
You’ll support children’s early learning and development within the nursery, working closely with the class teacher and Early Years team to create a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for all pupils.

We’re Looking For:

✅ Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
✅ Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
✅ A warm, caring, and professional approach
✅ Team player with excellent communication skills
✅ Available to start immediately
