SEND Teaching Assistant – Petersfield  Primary School
Location: Petersfield
Contract Type: Full-time or Part time (3 days a week ) would be considered , Temporary (with the potential to become permanent)
Pay: £82 – £95 per day
Start Date: ASAP

A Charming one-form entry primary school in Petersfield area is looking for an SEND Teaching Assistant to support them. For the right candidate, a 3 days position would be considered but full time is preferred.

The Role:

Provide 1:1 support for children with additional needs
Facilitate access to the curriculum through personalised activities and lessons
Encourage confidence, independence, and strong social connections
Encourage all pupils to be curious, inclusive and supportive of similarities and differences
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure consistent, effective support
Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment for all pupils

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children in an educational or early year setting
A desire to support children with hearing impairments
An interest in working with children with additional needs and barriers to learning
A genuine willingness to learn and grow in this area
Strong communication skills and a creative, caring, flexible approach
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
