Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role supporting a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated 1:1 ASD TA to join a welcoming primary school in Bolton from January, continuing through to the end of the academic year.

The Role:

Full-time position supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis

Providing tailored support to meet individual learning and social needs

Working closely with the class teacher, SENDCo and wider school team

Helping to create a positive, inclusive and structured learning environment

Implementing strategies to support communication, emotional regulation and engagement

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children with ASD or additional needs

Calm, patient and nurturing approach

Able to build trusting relationships and follow clear routines

Good communication skills with staff, pupils and parents

A passion for helping children reach their full potential

Requirements:

Experience in a similar role is desirable

A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Right to work in the UK

Suitable references covering the last 2 years
