Tradewind Recruitment are working with a secondary setting in Liverpool city centre to recruit a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support a student on a 1:1 basis. This long-term role begins in January 2026 and will continue until the end of the academic year.

About the Role:

Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support
Full-time position, Monday to Friday
Based in a welcoming secondary environment in Liverpool city centre
Supporting a student with additional needs on a 1:1 basis
Working closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to provide personalised support

Has experience working with children or young people, ideally in a secondary setting
Is patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic
Has a genuine passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills

To be successful in this Teaching Assistant role in a Liverpool city centre secondary setting, you will need:

Enhanced DBS Disclosure and Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
Two professional reference checks
