What we are looking for in the successful Year 1 TA:

A committed Teaching Assistant to support our Year 1 class, full-time (5 days per week), starting January.
Good written and spoken English - essential for clear communication with children, staff and parents.
Knowledge of Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised is desirable (though not essential). Support will be provided
A warm, compassionate approach, aligned with our values of empathy, respect and inclusion - ideal for helping every child to thrive.What you'll be doing:

Supporting learning and progress in Year 1: helping children access the curriculum, working with small groups or one-to-one as needed.
Promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing, helping children feel safe, seen and supported - as part of their Rights Respecting and inclusive ethos.

Who should apply:

Experienced Teaching Assistant or graduate
An Enhanced Child Only DBS and/or Overseas Police checks
A CV that covers your employment and education history since you finished formal education and any employment breaks must be explained
