Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Bootle & surrounding areas, and we are looking for passionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 - particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils and helping create a positive, engaging learning environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

✅ Supporting children during lessons and learning activities
✅ Working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils of varying abilities
✅ Providing tailored SEN support to help pupils reach their full potential
✅ Encouraging confidence, independence and positive behaviour
✅ Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and organisation
✅ Helping to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment

✔ Have previous school or childcare experience
✔ Build positive relationships quickly with pupils and staff
✔ Are passionate about supporting children's development and well-being
