We are currently recruiting for a part-time teaching assistant to join one of our partner schools on the outskirts of Stafford. You'll be working on a part-time basis in a long-term role supporting a lovely village school which boasts a warm, family-feel environment. As a Teaching Assistant you'll be working alongside the class teacher on a daily basis to assist in delivering consistent and fulfilling support to each and every child in and out of the classroom. Part of your role will also include assisting individual pupils on a more 1:1 basis; you'll be expected to tailor and implement new learning strategies which support pupils progress by suiting and matching individual needs and requirements.
Working through a trusted and reputable supply agency, you will have the opportunity to work within a small, local village school on a long term, part-time basis. Within the school environment, you'll be expected to "settle straight in"; helping to deliver engaging activities, support learning through play and activities and foster a safe, nurturing learning environment in which school remains an enjoyable place for pupils to attend.
The role includes:
Working alongside class teachers to deliver fulfilling lessons within a warm, welcoming school environment. Provide SEND support for individual pupils including pupils with EHCP's and additional needs. You must be confident in supporting the class teacher in providing tailored care and learning where necessary. The ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents and pupils. Creating and maintaining strong and professional relationships at all times.What we are looking for:
An experienced Teaching Assistant who shares a passion and drive for supporting pupils across the primary age range. Holds NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants (or above). Have both high expectations of themselves and pupils; pushing the children to grow and flourish within the class. Has a genuine passion and interest in supporting pupils' academic and personal development. Somebody who is able to adapt and jump into different school environments; creating strong, trusting relationships with staff. You will be working on a temporary basis, supporting a variety of our partner schools. We work with you providing work when suits around your lifestyle and commitments.Pay: £93 - £100 a day (dependent on experience) holiday pay is included in the day rate.
