Careermakers Recruitment is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across Primary, Secondary and SEN schools throughout the North West. We have a variety of day-to-day, short-term, long-term and permanent opportunities available, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

Pay Rates

* General Teaching Assistant: £85–£110 per day

* SEN / 1:1 Teaching Assistant: £105–£130 per day

Pay is dependent on experience, qualifications and the nature of the assignment.

Key Responsibilities

* Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

* Work with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.

* Assist children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) where required.

* Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement.

* Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

* Build positive relationships with pupils, teachers and school staff.

What We're Looking For

* Experience working with children or young people in a school, nursery, care, youth work or coaching environment is desirable.

* A caring, enthusiastic and professional approach.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

* Right to work in the UK.
