An excellent secondary school in Maidstone is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join its SEN team, supporting students with a range of additional learning needs from September.
This role would be an excellent fit for graduates in English, Maths, Science, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology and other core subject or social science degrees who are looking to gain valuable school experience before moving into teaching or another education-related career.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting students with SEN in lessons and around the school Delivering targeted academic and pastoral support Working with teachers to adapt learning activities where required Encouraging student participation, confidence and independence Helping create an inclusive and supportive learning environmentWe're looking for candidates who:
