Teaching Assistant

P+S Recruitment are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to support learners across Primary, Secondary and Further Education settings on a full-time, temporary basis. This is a great opportunity for experienced TAs, education professionals, graduates or those looking to gain valuable experience in education.

Main Responsibilities:

* Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective learning activities.

* Provide one-to-one and small-group support to learners.

* Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources.

* Help maintain a positive, safe and supportive learning environment.

* Encourage positive behaviour, participation and learner engagement.

* Support students with their learning and development.

* Build positive and professional relationships with learners and teaching staff.

* Assist with general classroom and educational activities.

* Adapt to different age groups, subjects and educational settings.

Person Specification:

* Previous experience working with children, young people or learners is desirable.

* A genuine passion for education and supporting learners.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Patient, approachable and able to build positive relationships.

* Reliable, professional and adaptable.

* Able to work effectively as part of a team.

* Confident supporting learners in a classroom environment.

* A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

* Relevant qualifications or experience in education, childcare, youth work or a related field are desirable.
