Job Description - Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant require to provide support to small classes of primary aged children with special educational needs. This school with excellent leadership is looking to add a Teaching Assistant to the team. As a Teaching Assistant you will be working with small classes of children with moderate learning difficulties, supporting the class teacher and inspiring a love for learning.

The school is a lovely setting, with excellent facilities and a warm, welcoming feeling. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a brilliant team and make a difference. You will be joining an established team of Teaching Assistants, Teachers and Classroom Assistants is providing pupils with an excellent education. This is an opportunity that will last the duration of the academic year. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant required.

Job Role:

Supporting children on a 1-2-1 or small group basis.
Acting as a Teaching Assistant / Classroom Assistant.
Working closely with the class teachers to provide the right support.
Managing behaviours if required.
Understanding a range of special educational needs.
Providing consistency and care for children.
Making learning fun, engaging, and nurturing.
