Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking for your next full-time opportunity in Accrington?
We are seeking a confident and caring Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school, supporting pupils across a range of year groups. This is a varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys building positive relationships with children and is happy to support wherever needed within the school.
✏️ The Role
Your responsibilities may include:
Supporting the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom Working across different year groups depending on the needs of the school Providing 1:1 support for individual pupils Delivering targeted small group interventions Supporting pupils with their learning, confidence and engagement Assisting with general classroom tasks and preparing learning resources Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils remain focused Supporting children with differing abilities and additional needs Providing feedback to teachers regarding pupil progress
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting Is confident supporting pupils both 1:1 and in small groups Is flexible and happy to work across different year groups Has a patient, positive and nurturing approach Works well as part of a wider school team Is enthusiastic about helping children reach their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
