Experienced Teaching Assistant - Long-Term Role in Bath

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Bath on a long-term basis. This exciting opportunity runs from February to July and offers the chance to make a real difference in a Key Stage 1 (KS1) classroom setting.

About the Role

* Pay Rate: £90 - £100 per day
* Location: Bath
* Hours: Full-time, term-time only

Responsibilities Include:

* Providing in-class support to the teacher during lessons.
* Supporting small groups with reading and other activities.
* Assisting with general classroom duties.
* Encouraging pupil engagement and learning progress.

Requirements

* Experience: Must have previous experience working within a primary school setting, preferably with KS1 pupils.
* DBS Check: A valid and current Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
* EWC Registration: Must be registered (or eligible to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
* Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, and a proactive approach to supporting learning.
