Teaching assistant - Bristol

A forward-thinking secondary school in Bristol is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with teenagers and is confident supporting pupils with a range of needs-both in and out of the classroom.

?? Your Role Will Include:

• Supporting students in Key Stages 3 and 4

• Working 1:1 and in small groups, particularly with those who have additional needs

• Assisting teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons

• Promoting positive behaviour and active participation

• Helping to create a calm, inclusive, and productive learning environment

?? What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a school or youth setting

• Confidence working with secondary-age pupils

• Strong communication and classroom support skills

• GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
