We are seeking a resilient, compassionate, and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at a dynamic Secondary PRU in Gorton. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students aged 11-16 who are not currently in mainstream education, helping them re-engage with learning and achieve their potential.

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant in our PRU, you'll play a vital role in:

• Supporting students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs

• Delivering targeted interventions and one-to-one support

• Assisting classroom teachers in managing behaviour and creating a positive learning environment

• Building trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement and progress

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children or young people with additional needs or challenging behaviour

• Remains calm, empathetic, and patient under pressure

• Has strong communication and teamwork skills

• Is passionate about inclusion and committed to helping every child succeed

• Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures (training can be provided)
