TimePlan Education is currently working with a welcoming school in Redbridge that is looking for a confident and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA who can quickly settle into a classroom, build strong relationships with pupils and provide effective support from day one.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support the class teacher with day-to-day teaching and learning
Work with pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis
Support children with their literacy, numeracy and wider learning
Provide targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs and SEND
Assist with classroom activities, preparation and organisation
Help promote positive behaviour and pupil engagement
Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
Contribute to a safe, inclusive and encouraging classroom environment

We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
Have a strong understanding of classroom support and pupil development
Be confident supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be proactive, reliable and adaptable
Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Be available to start ASAPExperience supporting children with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs would be advantageous.
