An inclusive secondary school is seeking a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their SEN provision as soon as possible. Role Highlights:
- Full-time, permanent position at an inclusive secondary school
- Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with a range of SEN
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and support strategies
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Help students develop essential social, emotional, and academic skills
- Support students with their personal care and mobility needs, as required
- Work collaboratively with the SEN team, teachers, and other staff to create and implement individualized learning plans (ILPs)
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable
- A genuine passion for working with young people with SEN
- Strong communication, patience, and empathy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and commitment to helping students succeed
- Enhanced DBS check required
