Teaching Assistant (SEND Experience)

Are you a qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistant with a passion for helping children learn, grow, and feel confident every day? We are working with a primary school in the Northamptonshire area, who are looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant with some SEND experience for a long-term/temp-to-perm basis.

Responsibilities

• Supporting individual pupils or small groups with their learning
• Assisting teachers with classroom setup, resources, and activities
• Helping children feel safe, included, and confident in the classroom
• Working with SEN pupils, adapting support to meet their needs
• Being a calm, caring presence throughout the school day

Requirements

• A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working with children in a primary or early years setting
• SEND Experience
• A positive, patient, and proactive approach
• The ability to build strong relationships with both children and staff
