Year 2 Teaching Assistant - WF5 ?? Wakefield | ??? September 2025 Start | ?? Full-Time | ?? £93-£105/day (DOE)

We're working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in the WF5 area seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a vibrant Year 2 classroom starting this September. This is a full-time role ideal for someone with a passion for early learning and a proactive, nurturing approach.

• Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom routines

• Leading small group interventions in phonics, reading, and numeracy

• Assisting pupils with varying needs, including SEND and EAL learners

• Promoting positive behaviour and pupil engagement

• Helping prepare resources and maintain a stimulating learning environment

• Experience working with KS1 pupils, ideally in Year 2

• Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (or equivalent experience)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
