Empowering Learning now supplies staff to a growing number of schools across Belper and Ripley, and we need skilled, caring Teaching Assistants to join us. These are welcoming schools that value their support staff, and they are close to home, so you can work in your own community without a long commute.

Key responsibilities

Support classroom teachers in delivering lessons
Work with individual pupils, small groups or whole classes
Support pupils' learning, progress and behaviour
Promote pupils' wellbeing and help maintain a safe, positive and inclusive classroom
Follow each school's policies, including safeguardingRequirements

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a school setting
A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant, or equivalent)
Living in or near Belper, Ripley or the surrounding area
Reliable, caring and confident working with children
Right to work in the UKWhat we offer

Pay of £93 to £120 per day, depending on experience
Term-time only, so you have school holidays off
