Teaching Assistants - Long-Term and Supply Opportunities in Coalville

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across a range of supportive and welcoming primary schools in Coalville and the surrounding areas.

The Role

• Support pupils across KS1 and KS2 classrooms
• Work across different primary schools throughout Coalville and nearby areas
• Provide 1:1 support for individual pupils where required
• Work as a general classroom Teaching Assistant supporting teachers and pupils
• Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions
• Support pupils with their learning, development, and wellbeing
• Help manage classroom behaviour and daily routines
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or within schools is desirable
• Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence working with different pupils, year groups, and school environments
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
