Job Description - Teaching Assistants Required in Norwich

You’ll work closely with pupils who have a range of academic, social, and behavioural needs, helping them stay engaged, regulated, and ready to learn. This is a hands-on role where confidence, consistency, and a positive mindset are essential. Experience in education, care, or youth work is beneficial—but attitude and resilience matter most.
Travel Requirement: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as travel between schools may be required at short notice.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils with learning and behavioural needs in the classroom Deliver structured strategies to improve engagement and progress Assist with literacy and numeracy Manage behaviour calmly using clear expectations and positive reinforcement Help maintain a safe, structured learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
