Career Development: Genuine progression pathways with CPD opportunities ________________________________________ The Role As a Teaching Support Apprenticeship Trainer/Assessor, you'll coach and guide learners across: • Level 3 Teaching Assistant • Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant • Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager You’ll deliver engaging training, assess progress, and provide tailored support to help learners succeed – both in their roles and through End-Point Assessment. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Conduct initial assessments and create tailored learning plans • Deliver training sessions (virtual and in-person), covering Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours • Provide guidance on safeguarding, British Values, Prevent, and career development • Monitor learner progress and ensure timely achievement of portfolios and qualifications • Deliver or support Functional Skills (Maths and English) as needed • Collaborate with employers to support learning in the workplace • Identify and support Additional Learning Needs (ALN) • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance reporting • Promote online safety, mental health awareness, and career development • Stay up to date with standards through CPD and standardisation activities ________________________________________ About You Essential: • A recognised teaching qualification (ideally Level 5 or equivalent) • Experience as a Teacher, TA, or Education Manager • Proven track record of managing performance through people • Level 2 (or above) qualifications in Maths and English • Strong knowledge of apprenticeships and the education sector • Confident in using digital platforms, ePortfolios, and IT systems • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel required) Desirable: • Assessor (CAVA), IQA, or teaching qualifications ________________________________________ Make a Real Impact This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of education professionals while enjoying flexibility, support, and a values-led working environment.
