Your role will involve:
- Ensure team follow all work instructions, policies, and procedures including compliance and safety
- Completes Shift handover duties
- Supports the Plant Supervisor with Daily metric huddle meeting
- Monitor Sharpsmart floor stock in line with production requirements and contingency levels and perform routine quality audit checks
- Supports the Plant Supervisor to conduct regular quality assurance training to staff in line with metrics
- Maintain record of machine performance, identify trends to maximise efficiency and report performance to Plant Supervisor and the onsite Maintenance Technician
- Engages in effective communication across teams, departments, and organisation
- Motivates and maintains a productive, professional, and customer-service oriented team
- Ensures compliance with necessary safety procedures
- Promote and lead the Pride in the Workplace programme
Candidate Profile:
- 3+ years plant/warehouse leadership experience (or relatable experience)
- Mechanical background advantageous
- Proven experience in improving processes and procedures
- Occasionally working in confined spaces; extensive lifting, walking, bending, and pushing
