Job Description - Team Leader - Children's Residential


Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Team Leader to join its client’s Children's Residential team, based in Leicestershire.


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Children's Residential Support Worker looking to take the next step into a leadership role. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the home, promote positive outcomes for young people, and help lead and develop a team of support workers. The role requires someone who is energetic, resilient, able to remain calm under pressure, and passionate about improving the lives and wellbeing of children and young people.



What will your responsibilities be? 



  • Support individuals with complex needs in a person-centred, engaging way

  • Assist the Deputy/ Registered Manager with staff supervision and development

  • Manage service rotas and contribute to support package planning and delivery

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth service operations

  • Participate in shared on-call rota and work evenings/weekends as needed


Benefits:  



  • Bonuses: In addition to your base salary you’ll do up to 3 sleep ins per months, these are paid at £80 per sleep (approx. £2,880 per year) and Attendance allowance up to £1,400 per year, £2,000 Regional Allowance, £1,500 Responsibility Allowance, £1,000 Welcome Bonus - on successful completion of probation & £1,000 Loyalty Bonus

  • Training: A full 4-week induction on our Care Academy

Qualifications and Experience: 


To be successful in this role you must have;  



  • Diploma or NVQ Level 3 in Childrens Residential

  • Car Driver

  • Significant experience supporting people with complex needs

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • A positive, team-oriented attitude

  • Role is not open to sponsorship
