Team Leader – Claims & Property Services

Location: Droitwich
Job Type: Full-time, Office-based
Salary: £28,808 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week (including some evenings and weekends)

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Team Leader to oversee a busy, service-led team of Claims Handlers, Property Finders, and Administrators.
This role is ideal for a people-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving performance and service quality. You’ll take ownership of team development, manage workloads, and ensure service level agreements are met, all while promoting a positive and supportive culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team to achieve individual and team KPIs.
Manage recruitment processes, conduct regular 1-2-1s, performance reviews, and HR-related tasks.
Act as a point of escalation, supporting the team and liaising with other Team Leaders for smooth daily operations.
Monitor SLAs for emergency and alternative accommodation claims, adjusting priorities as required.
Support the delivery of new initiatives, process improvements, and Out of Hours coverage when needed.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a team leadership role, preferably in a regulated or customer-centric environment.
Strong people management, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to lead by example with a proactive and supportive approach.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
