Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor

Location: Pershore, WR10
Pay: £14.00 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: 11:00 – 20:00, Monday to Friday
Contract: Ongoing / Temp to Perm

A well-established transport and storage company based in Pershore is looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor to join their busy operation.

This is a hands-on supervisory role, ideal for someone with previous warehouse leadership experience who is confident coordinating daily workloads, supporting a team and ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities will include:
Supervising and supporting warehouse operatives during the shift
Allocating workloads and ensuring daily priorities are completed
Coordinating the movement, loading and unloading of goods
Operating a Counterbalance Forklift when required
Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
Monitoring productivity and supporting the smooth running of warehouse operations
Liaising with transport, warehouse and operational teams
Supporting transhipment activities and the movement of goods between vehicles
Dealing with operational issues and escalating where necessary
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

The successful candidate will require:
Previous experience working as a Warehouse Team Leader, Supervisor or similar
A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence, refreshed within the last 5 years
Strong warehouse and operational experience
Good communication and team leadership skills
Confidence allocating workloads and managing priorities
A proactive and hands-on approach
Ability to work effectively within a busy transport and storage environment
Previous transhipment experience would be highly desirable

Benefits:
Pay of around £14.00 per hour, depending on experience

Monday to Friday working

11:00 – 20:00 shift
