Job Description - Team Manager

Become a Team Manager and Lead Our Field Operations

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team
Manager
to take charge of our field-based team. In this pivotal role, you
will be responsible for managing and controlling your team's activities,
ensuring the successful delivery of specific KPI targets. This is a hands-on,
field-based position where you'll provide technical leadership and inspire a
clear vision for your team's success.

You will be the driving force behind the implementation and
monitoring of our agreed-upon targets and objectives. Your priority will be to
ensure company policies are followed and that the highest level of service is
delivered to our clients and their customers.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Field
    Management:
    You will manage the day-to-day field activity of your
    team, ensuring strict adherence to all Health & Safety policies and
    procedures
    .
  • Performance
    Monitoring:
    Conduct regular audits to monitor team performance and
    activity across various projects, including HFC, FTTP, Cut and Case,
    PIA, and small civils
    .
  • Team
    Development:
    You'll be responsible for the seamless implementation of
    new recruits and trainees into your team, handling all related HR
    duties
    with support from the wider business.
  • Operational
    Oversight:
    Manage daily completion rates and ensure that both
    customers and clients are kept fully informed and updated.
  • Reputation
    Management:
    Uphold our company's image and maintain a professional
    reputation at all times when interacting with clients and their customers.
  • Issue
    Resolution:
    Promptly resolve any issues raised by your team members
    and escalate matters outside your remit as appropriate.
  • Customer
    Service:
    Ensure all complaints are addressed quickly and efficiently,
    minimising customer and client inconvenience and confirming a satisfactory
    resolution for every case.


Requirements

  • Communication: The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, is
    essential.
  • Decision-Making
    & Judgement:
    You must be able to make sound and effective
    judgments based on available data.
  • Leadership
    & Vision:
    The capability to inspire your team with a clear vision
    and purpose is crucial.
  • Resilience: You must be able to cope under pressure with maximum perseverance.
  • Planning
    & Organisation:
    The ability to identify the necessary steps to
    achieve specific objectives and ensure ultimate team success.
  • Accountability: We need someone who takes personal responsibility for the actions and
    performance of their team.
  • Technical
    Proficiency:
    Strong computer literacy, including proficiency
    with MS Word and MS Excel, is required, along with the
    ability to learn new software.
  • Professional
    Presentation:
    A commitment to maintaining a professional appearance at
    all times is a must.
