Job Description - Tech PR Account Manager

We are now looking for a passionate, ambitious, and entrepreneurial Account Manager to join our growing Technology PR team. You can expect to support clients across Fintech, Financial Services, Web3, and Blockchain. Client responsibilitiesContinue to deliver high-quality coverage for accounts.Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients as the trusted day to day account lead (based on size of account), taking ownership of client meets, regular client updates, and reporting.Work with the account lead to start demonstrating strong client management with detailed, clear communication, counsel, and strategic recommendations.Start to run the day to day management of client accounts, leading juniors across the team with the support of the account lead, including:Setting and adhering to agreed timelines.Management of weekly and monthly reporting.Monitoring and exceeding KPIs.Ideation to keep client activity fresh and engagingGrowthSupport the team on new business opportunities by sourcing prospects, identifying areas of growth, and assisting with proposals.Contribute to new business by working with Sales & Marketing, involving proposal preparation, pitch development, and campaign ideas.Start to develop commercial awareness of client accounts, identify opportunities to increase account revenue.People managementDemonstrate consistent and effective upward management to account leads, sharing successes and flagging issues/challenges at the earliest opportunity, whilst also starting to identify and suggest possible solutions.Provide regular feedback to junior colleagues across accounts, working with them to develop core PR and client management skills.Start to demonstrate ownership of weekly account activity, delegating tasks to junior members of the team and taking responsibility for proofing their work.Industry knowledgeMaintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and other key figures relevant to your sector to provide regular opportunities for your clients.Use your knowledge of industries relevant to your clients and research skills to lead planning and campaign strategies, draft in-depth content, and upsell projects.What will you get?
