Technical Accounting Manager

Absolute Executive Search are delighted to be partnered with a Top 10 Accountancy firm who are looking for a Technical Accounting Manager to join their growing team in Hertford.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Technical Manager to join an ever-evolving practice where you will be giving specialist technical accounting advice to clients which may include IFRS Statutory account preparation, flotation support work, and also IFRS conversations.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Review and prepare more complex annual statutory accounts (complex UK GAAP and IFRS accounts) for clients.
• IFRS conversions, implementation of new standards.
• IFRS Statutory account preparation.
• Support with the valuations of share-based payments and intangible assets.
• Support, train, mentor and develop more junior members of the team.

Key Requirements:-

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualified.
• Proven track record of completing and advising on complex accounting areas.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communicator at all levels.
• Highly organised and can prioritise work as per needs of the client and business.
• Able to train and develop the more junior members of the team.

Work Hours: 37.5 Hours per week.
