Technical Asset Manager - Solar and Battery Storage

We are seeking a skilled Technical Asset Manager to join our team in the United Kingdom, specialising in solar and battery storage projects.

As a Technical Asset Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance, maintenance, and optimization of solar and battery storage assets to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyse the performance of solar and battery storage assets to identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and longevity of solar and battery storage systems.
Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and contractors to schedule and oversee maintenance activities, repairs, and upgrades.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess the condition of assets and address any issues proactively.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, operators, and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards.
Prepare reports and presentations on asset performance, maintenance activities, and financial metrics for internal and external stakeholders.
Stay informed about technological advancements and best practices in solar and battery storage to drive continuous improvement in asset management practices.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in technical asset management, preferably in the solar and battery storage sector.
Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, battery storage technologies, and energy management systems.
Familiarity with UK regulations and standards related to renewable energy and energy storage.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
