We specialise in tackling complex network solutions, Dynamic System Monitoring, Power Quality, and Generator performance monitoring.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Coordinator with strong technical writing abilities to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is designed for an individual who thrives in managing multiple tasks while ensuring seamless communication between engineering teams, clients, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of engineering concepts and excellent writing skills to create clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation.

Location: Rochester. This is a hybrid role which will require you to work in the office 2/3 days a week.

You’ll make a difference by

• Serve as the primary point of contact between engineering teams, project managers, and clients to ensure the smooth execution of engineering projects
• Coordinate schedules, resources, and project deliverables, ensuring that all engineering projects meet timelines and quality standards.
• Own, prepare and manage cost models, including updates, suitability for purpose and metrics
• Facilitate meetings, communicate with various stakeholders, and ensure everyone is aligned to project objectives and timelines
• Create, review, and maintain detailed technical documentation, including user manuals, standard operating procedures, system designs, solution specifications and test specifications
• Translate complex engineering concepts into easily understandable content for a wide range of audiences, including technical and non-technical personnel
• Ensure all documentation adheres to company standards, industry best practices and regulatory requirements while ensuring clarity, accuracy and consistency

You’d describe yourself as

• Engineering or technical background required
• Experience in project coordination and/or management
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise effectively
• Ability to adapt to evolving project needs and technological advancements
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality documentation
• Proactive and solution-oriented with the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
