As a Technical Customer Support, you will be an integral part of the Technical Support Department, serving as a vital link between the Service and Customer Service departments. This role provides an excellent platform to enhance your technical expertise while working closely with trade professionals and end-users.
Key duties and responsibilities: - Provide first-class technical and sales support via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions. - Offer technical support to internal teams. - Manage the spare parts database, ensuring accuracy and compatibility across brands. - Act as a conduit between the Service and Customer Services departments, managing service administration. - Support the Product Specialist with demonstration and review stock, testing and understanding products to increase the knowledge base.
Skills and experience: - Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset. - Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments. - Keen interest in electronics and/or audio-visual equipment. - Experience working in retail or similar customer support/service roles (desirable). - Comfortable working with business software and digital systems (desirable). - Experience with home AV, home audio, smart home, or consumer electronics, even as a hobbyist (desirable).
