Technical Data Administrator (Maintenance Transmission) Location: Poole Salary: £ 24,831 - £29,030 per annum (Dependent on skills & qualifications) An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Technical Data Administrator in Southern Maintenance, reporting to the Maintenance Engineering Manager. The role will primarily be focused on the administration of third party enquiries regarding proposed works being carried out in the vicinity of high pressure pipelines. Enquiries are received from LSBUD and it will be a key responsibility to ensure all are entered into SGN’s internal system; Third Party Enquiry System (TPES). Owing to the potential risks associated with unsupervised works being carried out around high pressure pipelines, it is paramount that these enquiries are dealt with in a timely but highly accurate manner. Good communication skills, using all forms is critical to the role. Alongside this there will be opportunities to get involved in the administration of other systems, including SGN’s pipeline compliance system, which is used to store Cathodic Protection readings. Key Responsibilities will include: Support technical administration of the HP pipelines Landowner Liaison Officer. Running HP third party system, ensuring strong communication with third parties and operational colleagues Communicating with third parties, inside and outside of SGN, to ensure safety and integrity of HP pipelines General admin tasks Technical administration support of Cathodic Protection data system Supporting colleagues to distribute work to operational staff across all maintenance activities Creation and maintaining spreadsheets to help support work tasks within the department What You’ll bring The successful candidate will be highly motivated and committed to working as part of a team in a performance orientated environment. You must be committed to providing the highest level of communication, accuracy and efficiency and be self driven. You will be highly organised, capable of working under pressure to tight deadlines and responding to changing priorities at short notice however accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of Excel, and have the ability to use multiple software packages to manage work loads and tasks. Not a perfect skills match?
