The Role

We are seeking a visionary Technical Director to oversee the design and engineering delivery of unique, high-specification residential projects. You will ensure flawless execution, turning complex architectural concepts into meticulously crafted realities. This role demands an uncompromising eye for detail, architectural passion, and premium quality management.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead Design: Oversee the detailing of custom, high-value architectural plans.

* Manage Consultants: Direct specialist external architects, interior designers, and structural engineers.

* Source Materials: Collaborate on selecting premium, sustainable, and cutting-edge materials.

* Ensure Quality: Maintain strict oversight to achieve flawless, luxury-grade construction finishes.

* Value Engineer: Optimize complex designs without compromising on aesthetic intent or luxury.

* Solve Problems: Resolve intricate technical challenges unique to bespoke, complex footprints.

* Navigate Planning: Manage sensitive planning conditions and building regulations for premium developments.

What We Are Looking For

* Experience: Proven technical leadership background with a bespoke, luxury, or niche residential developer.

* Aesthetic Eye: Deep passion for architectural design, high-end finishes, and craftsmanship.

* Qualifications: Degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.

* Niche Knowledge: Strong understanding of high-specification construction methods and premium materials.

* Relationship Focus: Exceptional skills in managing discerning stakeholders and specialist consultants
