We are recruiting on behalf of a successful and highly respected engineering training provider based in the Mid Kent area. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their expanding training team.

About the Role
You will deliver practical and classroom-based training to experienced engineers, helping them develop their technical skills and keep up to date with current industry standards and legislation.
Training is delivered in small groups, typically between 3 and 8 delegates, allowing for an engaging and hands-on learning experience. Practical training forms a significant part of the courses, making recent industry experience particularly important.
Alongside delivering training, you will support the development and design of new courses, helping ensure training programmes remain relevant to industry demands and legislative changes. This is a diverse role that offers continual learning and the opportunity to influence the future development of engineering skills.
What We're Looking For
We are interested in hearing from candidates with a commercial or industrial electrical engineering background rather than domestic installation experience.
You should have:
Recent hands-on experience within commercial or industrial electrical engineering Knowledge of factory or industrial maintenance environments Maintenance fitting experience (advantageous but not essential) The confidence to speak to small groups and communicate technical information effectively Strong interpersonal and communication skills A genuine desire to learn, develop and support othersNo previous teaching, training or assessing experience is required.
Full training, coaching and ongoing support will be provided to help you become a successful trainer and develop your presentation and course delivery skills.
Additional Information
The role will occasionally involve delivering training at customer sites across the UK. As such, candidates will need a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
Any travel undertaken outside normal working hours will be compensated through time off in lieu, and all business mileage and expenses will be fully reimbursed.
