Job Description - Technical Internal Sales

Role: Technical Internal Sales
Salary: £35K - £40K (DOE)
Hours: Mon - Thur 07:30-16:00 & Fri 07:30-12:40
Contract: Permanent - 100% Office Based
Location: Lowton, Warrington

Our client, a market leading manufacturing company, are looking for an experienced Technical Internal Salesperson to be 100% office based. You will have a strong understanding of engineering principles, combined with commercial acumen to support customers and drive sales growth.

As the Technical Internal Salesperson, your duties include:

Serve as a technical point of contact for customer inquiries, providing product recommendations and application support.
Develop a deep understanding of company products to effectively communicate value to customers.
Work closely with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
Support business development initiatives by identifying new sales opportunities.
Attend occasional client meetings and trade shows as needed.
Providing price & availability for customers automotive parts requirements/quotes.
Processing new sales orders

The successful Technical Internal Salesperson will have the following skills;

Ideally have previous experience in B2B technical sales within the automotive or manufacturing sectors
Familiarity with CAD drawings, technical specifications or ERP systems is advantageous.
Proven experience in a technical sales or customer-facing engineering role.
Strong knowledge of automotive, manufacturing or industrial environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
Ability to understand technical information and translate it into commercial language.
Proficiency with MS Office required and experience of Syspro or other similar ERP systems preferred but not essential.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
