Technical Lead

Blueprint is a venture-backed technology start-up backed by some of the best investors in the world - enabling brands and creators to sell inside SMS and WhatsApp. Blueprint is now launching to a global waitlist having been in development for 12 months.

We’re looking to hire a Tech Lead to join the leadership team and further develop the technology that drives our conversational commerce platform. This is a key hire with large responsibility that we would hope would grow into our long-term CTO. 

This is a hybrid role of management and hands on development (with a leaning towards ops) and requires a strong commercial understanding. You will work directly with our founders and manage our development team - who you will offer your expertise and guidance in architecture, project management and team building. We have interfaces in React and a backend built on Serverless using AWS Lambda, Node.js and MySQL. Our team is currently 5 developers working across the stack.

You will be: 

• Working with our clients to plan features that help them get the most out of Blueprint

• Scoping and estimating technical work with our developers

• Ensuring that our technical architecture aligns with our future plans

• Helping to organise our technical roadmap

• Ensuring our developers have a great environment to work in

• Getting stuck in by writing code where you can add the most value

The role:

• We’re based in East London (Bethnal Green) but will accept flexi-office hours.

• Flexible work hours (we’re results focussed)

• Salary is subject to experience: £85-100k
