Technical Lead & Sales Support Manager - EMEA & India/SAARC
Location: UK (with travel across EMEA & India/SAARC)

Our client is looking for a Technical Lead & Sales Support Manager to play a key role in their dynamic Sales Team. This position is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical expertise and customer engagement.

As the Technical Product Champion, you'll be at the forefront of presenting, demonstrating, and supporting cutting-edge solutions across EMEA and India/SAARC. You’ll work closely with the Regional Sales Managers and US-based engineering teams to ensure that products meet customer needs and are positioned strongly in competitive markets.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Sales Support: Deliver compelling technical presentations and application guidance to support product adoption.

  • Technical Authority: Be the go-to expert for Tempo’s product portfolio — both internally and externally.

  • Customer Engagement: Support sales to key telecom accounts across the UK, Europe, and beyond, liaising with engineering teams to tailor solutions.

  • Market Intelligence: Research trends and analyse competitor offerings to guide product positioning.

  • Training & Post-Sales: Lead customer training sessions and support product evaluations and rollouts.

  • Tender Support: Provide technical input for RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Assist product marketing, contribute to technical documentation, and support at trade shows and customer-facing events.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills — comfortable with both in-person and digital engagements (e.g., Teams, video demos).

  • Solid understanding of telecom network operator needs, especially BT/Operator experience desirable.

  • Ability to collaborate with international teams, particularly with US-based engineering and PLM.

  • Technical knowledge of test & measurement solutions used for cable location, fibre technologies, and legacy copper systems in the communications service provider industry.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities.

  • A strong team player with a results-driven mindset.

Your Background:

  • HND/Degree in Engineering or similar technical field

  • Background in Electronics and/or Telecom Operators (e.g., BT)

  • Experience navigating technical challenges to drive outcomes

  • Willing to travel within the UK and internationally

  • Motivated to grow and develop within the business
