We are currently recruiting for a Technical Operations Manager to join a specialist organisation within the confined space and rescue sector. This is a key leadership role, forming part of the senior management team and playing a critical part in driving safety, compliance, and operational excellence across the business.
The Role
As Technical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading all rescue operations and ensuring best-in-class technical and safety standards are implemented across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and overseeing all rescue activities across the business Developing high-quality risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and emergency rescue plans Ensuring all staff are fully trained, competent, and hold the required certifications Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with safety procedures and identifying areas for improvement Maintaining accurate and up-to-date compliance records Supporting business growth through active involvement in business development opportunities Building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersYou will also play a key role in shaping future operational strategy, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the business remains compliant with industry regulations and standards.
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent Health & Safety qualification) Proven leadership and management experience Strong experience within Health & Safety and safe systems of work Experience producing RAMS and managing risk in operational environments A full UK driving licence Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalDesirable:
Confined space experience (training will be provided if required)

You will also demonstrate strong commercial awareness and a continuous improvement mindset.
