Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 + Pension + Benefits

Days based Monday - Friday

The Company

An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s leading manufacturers, specialising in the FMCG sector.The company have been established for over 50 years and is therefore extremely well established, supplying a variety of end users. Due to continued growth in their market share they are looking to recruit an engineer to add to the strong engineering team.

Key Skills

• Ideally Degree Scientific/Food related
• 5 years' Food manufacturing experience
• In depth knowledge of HACCP

The Role

- Responsible for creating and driving the Site Food Safety & Quality Culture.

- Proactively influence all levels to deliver the sites Quality & Food Safety Strategy.
- Reduction in reoccurring issues through effective RCA
- Customer confidence and positive feedback
- External audit performance
- Participation in NPD / EPD projects to facilitate a smooth implementation incorporating site technical requirements.
- First Time Quality within area
- Total Microbiological performance within area
- Customer Complaints within area
- Actions raised close out % on time within area
- External and Internal audit score reduction within area
