A leading division of a rapidly growing, multi-disciplinary construction group, this specialist technical R&D team is dedicated to developing high-performance products for the MOJ and commercial clients. Collaborating closely with the wider group, you will be part of a supportive culture that will ensure a progressive career. Due to some ambitious growth plans of this division, they are now looking to bring in an Operations/Technical Manager.

This role supports the day-to-day operations of the division, with a focus on estimating, project management, delivery coordination, and product development. It involves close collaboration with the team, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely project delivery, particularly within high-security prison environments.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role with a technical/ /product development background within the engineering/construction industry. You will be a self-starter, enjoy a varied role, and have a desire to develop your skillset and progress.

The Role:

• Take overall control of operational activities including project management, estimating, delivery, and product development.
• Collaboration with the team, suppliers, and clients to ensure the successful and timely execution of projects
• Support new ideas and innovation of existing products
• Hybrid, with occasional office visits in Hemel Hempstead and regular site travel

• Operations Manager / Technical Manager, with a construction or engineering background
• Self-motivated and looking to progress your career
• Attention to detail & process driven
• Commutable distance from Hemel Hempstead
• Willingness to work in Prisons
• Full UK Driving License
